The NFL Network has been releasing their list of top 100 NFL players in 2024 little by little and on Wednesday, they released numbers 11-20. There are three Dallas Cowboys players who fell within that ranking, and I bet you can guess which ones they are.

Three Cowboys players rank in top 20 best in NFL in 2024

So far, the list of top 100 players has been released up to number 11, with five Dallas Cowboys making the list. On Friday, the final top 10 will be released at 8 p.m. ET. on NFL Network.

Before the list of players ranked 11-20 was released, there were just two Cowboys players on the list of 100 – cornerback DaRon Bland at 31 and offensive guard Zack Martin at 53.

On Wednesday, Dak Prescott, Micah Parsons, and CeeDee Lamb made the rankings in the top 20. These three players are without a doubt the Cowboys’ top three best on the team. Coincidentally, they’re all awaiting contract extensions and have yet to get them from owner Jerry Jones.

Micah Parsons – 17

Edge rusher Micah Parsons ranked at number 17, with NFL Network acknowledging that not only does he have impressive stats, but he also earned those numbers while being double-teamed on 21.4% of his pass rushes.

“Driven by a relentless pursuit, the Cowboys’ enterprising pass rusher gets after QBs faster than anyone in the NFL, generating a league-high 62 quick pressures (less than 2.5 seconds) and his 2.31-second time to pressure average was the quickest among all defenders with at least 300 pass rushes this season, according to Next Gen Stats.”

Dak Prescott – 16

Quarterback Dak Prescott landed at number 16 after coming off of one of his best seasons yet, leading the league with 36 passing touchdowns and 410 completions in 2023. NFL Network made sure to acknowledge that Prescott, likely due to his lack of success in the postseason, is an underappreciated player.

“Earning his highest ranking in four career appearances on the Top 100, Prescott’s impact in Dallas saw new levels of appreciation in 2023 after finishing second in MVP voting behind Lamar Jackson.”

CeeDee Lamb – 13
