NBA Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (3/21)

While the NCAA Tournament’s Field of 64 tips off on Thursday, that doesn’t mean that the National Basketball Association (NBA) is completely done. In fact, it doesn’t take much of a backseat with seven games on tap, including a pair of nationally-televised games on NBA TV.

Below are the three best NBA player props for Thursday, March 21.

Thursday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

    (Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Zion Williamson Over 6.5 Rebounds (+114)

The Pelicans head into Orlando with seven victories in eight games in the month of March, and a big reason for that success is having a healthy Zion Williamson. He has been looking to be in top form, going for 24.4 points (PPG), 7.8 rebounds (RPG), and 4.7 assists per game (APG) in eight games in the month. He has seven or more boards in each of the past four games, and six of the past seven, which makes this number rather surprising. You can go with the Over at plus-money.

Orlando is one of the best teams in the NBA in limiting opposing players on the glass, allowing just 39.8 RPG to lead the NBA. However, it also gathers just 42.6 RPG, which ranks 21st. So there is plenty of opportunity for Zion to get to at least seven. At plus-money, it’s well worth a roll of the dice.

Nikola Jokic Under 25.5 Points (-113)

The Knicks roll into the Mile High City to battle the defending champs, and New York will be looking to shut down “The Joker”. The two-time NBA MVP rolled up 35 points and 16 rebounds in a dominant performance on the road in the Twin Cities against the Minnesota Timberwolves last time out, and he is cruising along with 27.4 PPG, 12.1 RPG, and 7.0 APG in nine games in March.

Jokic will have difficulty against the Knicks’ defense, though. New York limits the opposition to just 107.9 PPG while holding teams to 46.7% from the field. If there is an Achilles’ heel, it’s in the 3-pointer defense, as teams hit 36.6% against New York. As it stands, Jokic will have a difficult time getting to 26 or more points, though. He managed just 16 points on 6-of-16 shooting against the Dallas Mavericks two games ago, and he has already had good games and poor games in each of the past five outings.

    De’Aaron Fox Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+106)

Fox has been on fire from behind the arc lately, cashing in seven triples in the past two games. He is plus-money to keep it going with at least three triples in Thursday’s game with the lowly Washington Wizards.

Washington allows 124.2 PPG to rank 30th in the NBA, and they’re also dead-last in field-goal percentage, as teams hit 50.1% from the floor against them. If the Wizards do anything remotely well, it’s defend the three, yielding just 36.8% from behind the arc. However, even that mark is still only good for 18th in the NBA, so it’s usually bombs away from the opposition. Fox is on one lately, hitting seven threes in the past two games. He should be able to get to at least three triples, as he remains on a heater. At plus-money, it is another one of those tremendous values that simply are too tempting to pass up.
