Sunday Night Football Touchdown Scorer Prop Bets
Miami Dolphins First TD Scorer: Jaylen Waddle (WR) +425
While Tyreek Hill was the star in Miami’s Week 1 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, Waddle should have a significant role this week. The former Alabama star has scored a receiving touchdown in three of four career matchups against the Patriots, with the lone exception coming in Week 17 last year when Tua Tagovailoa missed the game with a concussion. Furthermore, Waddle had the first offensive touchdown for Miami in two of those contests. Meanwhile, New England kept A.J. Brown out of the end zone in Week 1. However, they allowed the No. 2 wide receiver, DeVonta Smith, to have the first offensive touchdown of the game for the Philadelphia Eagles.
New England Patriots First TD Scorer: Hunter Henry (TE) +650
Last week, the first Los Angeles Chargers touchdown came from Austin Ekeler. Yet, the Dolphins haven’t surrendered a touchdown to Rhamondre Stevenson in four career matchups. Unfortunately, that likely won’t change this week. However, the first New England touchdown has been a pass in three of the past four matchups against Miami. Meanwhile, Hunter Henry had the first Patriots touchdown this season last week, scoring from nine yards out. More importantly, the Dolphins gave up 10 receiving touchdowns to tight ends in 2022, the fourth-most in the NFL. Furthermore, Donald Parham Jr. scored the only passing touchdown for the Chargers in Week 1.
